Self-Adhesive Butyl Tape is a flexible, high-performance sealing solution designed for waterproofing critical areas in wet rooms and bathroom installations. Made from a durable butyl rubber compound with a fleece-facing, it adheres instantly to a wide range of surfaces including cement boards, timber, metal, and plastic. It's ideal for reinforcing and sealing joints, corners, and penetrations before tiling, helping to prevent long-term water ingress and mould.
The strong self-adhesive backing eliminates the need for additional primers or bonding agents. Easy to handle and clean to apply, it’s perfect for detailing around showers, trays, pipework, and board junctions. Once installed, the tape provides a secure and reliable waterproof layer beneath tiles, ensuring long-lasting performance in any wet area.
